What is the shelf life of ChiKing and how should I store the products?

ChiKing is a frozen product with a shelf life of up to 120 days when stored frozen. If thawed and refrigerated, it stays fresh for up to 3-4 days. Place ChiKing in the freezer upon receiving your box.

What is the best way to enjoy ChiKing?

ChiKing can be enjoyed in any form, but it can also be cooked in different ways for a better taste. It can be thawed naturally, microwaved, pan-fried or boiled. To defrost naturally, thaw it in a refrigerator or in a cool, shaded place. Do not defrost at room temperature above 5℃ or in direct sunlight.

How are the products packed and shipped?

ChiKing products are packed inside eco-friendly insulated boxes with dry ice and/or food-safe ice gel packs. We use UPS for all of our packages, and tracking information will be sent to the email provided when the packages are picked up in the afternoon by our trusted UPS drivers.

Is the product delivered fresh or frozen?

ChiKing is delivered frozen. Depending on your location, it may be delivered half-thawed. We flash freeze our products using IQF technology to ensure you receive it as fresh as possible.

How quickly do my products arrive?

Once shipped, it typically takes 1-2 business days for the products to arrive at your doorstep. Please continue to monitor your UPS tracking number daily once you receive your Order Confirmation email.

My package is being sent to the wrong address, how do I correct that?

Please contact us as soon as possible, and we will try to edit the address before it leaves the warehouse. You can contact us by emailing help@thechifam.com.

Where's my package, and how do I track it?

Once we ship out your order, we will email you the tracking number and link so you can follow all tracking updates. If you have any issues, please contact us via email at help@thechifam.com

Do you offer refunds or returns?

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not, please email us at help@thechifam.com, and we will do our best to make it right. We do not offer refunds or returns for products that have been delivered, however, we may offer a refund or replacement for products that were damaged during shipping. Please send us a message within 12 hours of opening your package to report any product defect for us to coordinate accordingly. Refer to the Refund Policy for more detail.

Do you use organic chicken breast?

Yes! At ChiFam, we're committed to sourcing only the best quality organic, American chicken for our customers. Our chicken breast is USDA Organic and Animal Welfare certified, and Non-GMO Project verified to ensure that you're getting the highest quality product possible.

How do I cancel my order?

If you wish to cancel your order, please send an email to help@thechifam.com with subject [cancel order]. Make sure to include your order details, such as the order number, product name, and your contact information.

In order to qualify for a cancellation, you must submit your request within 12 hours of placing your order. Requests received after this timeframe may not be eligible for cancellation.

Are your products gluten-free?

Yes, our ChiKing products are gluten-free (except Korean BBQ) and we do not use any gluten-containing ingredients in our manufacturing process.

I received my order and there is dry ice in the package. What should I do with it?

Don't touch the dry ice with bare hands or consume it as it can cause skin burns and damage to the digestive tract. Please dispose of it in a well-ventilated area away from children and pets. You can leave the package open for a few hours to allow the dry ice to evaporate completely.

My order arrived partially thawed. Is it safe to eat?

If you received a partially thawed ChiFam order, it is generally considered safe to consume. Our products should arrive refrigerator cold, below 40°F, when delivered on time and retrieved within 2-3 hours of delivery depending on your location. We recommend using a food thermometer to check the internal temperature of any meat that isn't solid. According to USDA guidelines, meats that are refrigerator cold, partially frozen, or frozen can be placed into the freezer for later use. However, any meat above 40°F for more than 2 hours should be discarded. If your order doesn't meet these guidelines, please contact us at help@thechifam.com.

What if my package was delivered, but I was not present to accept it?

After your order is tendered, UPS sends a confirmation email to the address you provided during checkout. You will receive updates and notifications from UPS once your order has been delivered. Please note that it is your responsibility to retrieve your order in a timely manner. ChiFam cannot be held responsible for orders that are not retrieved promptly. Please plan your pick up ahead accordingly.
